Are you ready to revolutionize the way resources are allocated and optimized across a high-performing technical services team? We are seeking an experienced Resource Planning Manager to take charge of resource allocation, ensuring seamless project delivery from installations to support calls.

About the Role:

  • Drive Efficiency & Excellence: Monitor resource utilization and tackle bottlenecks head-on, ensuring we're always one step ahead.
  • Collaborate & Lead: Work closely with Sales, Projects, and Technical Services managers to ensure the right resources are in place for every project.
  • Shape Strategy: Develop and implement innovative resource management strategies to maximize efficiency across the department.
  • Empower Your Team: Develop and mentor your team, fostering a culture of proactive service, continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Seize Opportunities: Identify commercial opportunities and drive revenue growth for the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete role-specific training and get to know the ins and outs of the Technical Service & Support operations within the first 6 months.
  2. Build strong internal networks within the UK and global business, setting your team up for long-term success.
  3. Start regular check-ins with your team, setting clear objectives and development goals.
  4. Align annual objectives and performance metrics with business needs, ensuring your team is always set up for success.
  5. Lead the way in developing a high-performance culture in your team, underpinned by our Leadership Behaviours.

What You'll Achieve:

You will be responsible for delivering key strategies and driving business results. You'll identify and champion new growth opportunities that add value to both the business and our customers.

About You:

  • Holds a degree or equivalent experience in engineering, project management, or business.
  • Has 3+ years of experience in resource management within a technical services or project-based environment.
  • Has proven experience managing remote, multi-skilled teams.
  • Is a motivational leader, adept at change management, and thrives on driving performance.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a highly competitive role offering an estimated salary of £65,000 per annum, excellent benefits, including a car or car allowance, 30% bonus potential, pension, 25 days holiday, and individual medical cover.
