Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Shop Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will assist the Shop Manager in leading, training, and working alongside our team to achieve sales growth, control costs, and deliver profit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in supervising the team and running the shop at various times during the week.
  • Ensure store schedules and objectives are met by employees.
  • Assist with the management of branch stock and produce.
  • Maintain shop displays and ensure high-quality food products.
  • Preparation of food in line with the specification and maintain food safety standards.
  • Opening or closing the shop when required and running shifts at various times during the week.
  • Driving sales and minimising wastage.

Requirements
  • Experience with team leading or supervising within food service or a retail setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and assist the Shop Manager as required.
