Job Description

As a Senior Policy Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the Better Planning Coalition's lobbying efforts on planning changes introduced by the new Labour government. You will work closely with senior policy and parliamentary colleagues from 34 organisations across various sectors to maximise our impact and influence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating lobbying efforts on planning changes introduced by the new Labour government
  • Acting as a strategic interface between MPs, Peers, Whitehall officials, and the Better Planning Coalition
  • Finding creative ways to boost our influence and impact via policy, public affairs, and media relations
  • Working with other partners to coordinate events in the planning space and update previous outputs such as Six Tests for Planning and the Vision for Planning

Salary: £38,718 (London office based) or £35,180 (home-based)
