We are seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Primary Care Liaison Psychiatrist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our primary care partners to improve mental health outcomes for patients across Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for providing specialist consultative liaison to primary care staff, including GPs and primary care mental health practitioners.
The post-holder will also be responsible for working with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services and sharing best practice with consultant colleagues.
This is a fixed-term appointment for 12 months, working 5 programmed activities per week. The estimated salary for this role is £123,000 - £170,000 per annum, depending on experience.
