Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Omega, part of the Staffline Group. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: ONC - Multi-skilled Engineering, Level 3 NVQ Diploma in electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Competitive Salary: £52,000 + £5k signing on bonus.
