Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Workshop Controller to join our team at Cox Automotive. As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mechanical workshop, ensuring quality control, and managing the workload of our technicians.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily work schedules of our technicians, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide estimates for servicing and repairs, and set realistic timescales for completion.
  • Assist technicians with technical challenges and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
