We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEN provision in Barnsley on a full-time, long-term basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and experience as a teaching assistant or in a care role. You will be passionate about creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
About the Role:
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Location: Barnsley
- Job Type: Full-time, Long-term
Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
