Job Description:

We are recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in Primary schools in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas. This role involves providing individualised support to students with SEN needs in mainstream Primary Schools.

You will build strong relationships quickly and work in small groups as a talented, compassionate and dedicated teaching professional. Key requirements include a Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning qualification, previous experience working with children in a 1:1 capacity, and strong empathy and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: £22,500 - £28,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support and assistance to students with SEN needs
  • Work in small groups and build relationships quickly
  • Support students in mainstream Primary Schools
  • Develop experience across different schools, classes and year groups
Requirements:
  • Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children in a 1:1 capacity
  • Strong empathy and understanding of individual student need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs
  • Knowledge of relevant teaching methodologies and resources
