Argyll & Bute Council is seeking an experienced Animal Health and Welfare Officer to join our Regulatory Services team in Argyll.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal health and welfare, with experience working in local authorities or agencies, or applying standards in the agricultural sector.
This temporary opportunity involves promoting animal health and welfare standards across the region, collaborating with stakeholders, and working closely with colleagues to deliver effective solutions.
The post requires flexibility, as the successful candidate may be required to work early mornings or evenings, and cover livestock markets and out-of-hours services when needed.
About the Role:- Responsibility for promoting animal health and welfare standards across the region.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience working with livestock. Consideration will be given to applicants with suitable skills and experience.
