Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position is between £35-£45. The starting rate is £35 for Building Blocks and £40 for our other clubs (Robotics & Virtual Reality). Travel expenses are covered, and an additional £5 per session is paid if cycling.

Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 5 – 12 in our lunchtime and after-school clubs. Sessions generally last 1 hour and run on a weekly basis during term time from either 12:30 - 1:30 or 3:30 - 4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to promote creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other club leaders to develop and implement lesson plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to students as needed.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS certificate required (we can assist with the application process).
  • 2-hour training and safeguarding documentation must be completed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
