Teaching Assistant for Children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities
We are seeking an experienced and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team and work with children who have Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is a full-time, term-time position requiring a supportive individual to provide tailored support and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with PMLD
- Assist with personal care duties such as toileting and feeding
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young adults with complex needs
- Caring and empathetic approach with good communication skills
Estimated salary £25,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience, plus additional benefits including ongoing training and a supportive team environment.
