Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Operations Supervisor at UPS, overseeing the maintenance and repair of our conveyor systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in determining corrective actions for damaged or worn equipment based on historical data and discussions with the operations team.
  • Dispatch BaSE Mechanics to complete necessary repairs and Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
  • Monitor status of repairs and PMI updates daily to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Conduct facility inspections and identify operational improvements needed to promote efficiency of package flow and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering preferred.
  • Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
