Airfield Supervisor

East Midlands Airport is part of the largest UK-owned airport operator group, MAG. We serve over 60 million passengers a year from Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands Airports, connecting people to destinations across the globe.

We are looking for an experienced Airfield Operations Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safety, compliance, and security of the airfield, as well as maintaining the entire airfield area and responding to incidents and emergencies.

• Maintain the entire airfield area, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal requirements
• Perform robust routine inspections to ensure the airfield is safe and secure
• Communicate effectively with air traffic control and respond to incidents and emergencies
• Identify and rectify hazards promptly to ensure the safety of staff and passengers

• Previous experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in aerodrome operations
• Excellent comprehension and composition skills
• Critical thinking ability
• Situational awareness and impeccable communication skills
• Ability to identify hazards and rectify promptly
• Compliance with Aerodrome Manual and audit third-party handling against Airside Operational Instructions
• A full UK driving licence is essential
