About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Technology Risk Lead to join our team at Skipton Building Society. As a key member of our Technology Governance team, you'll play a crucial role in managing technology risk and ensuring the effective implementation of our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technology risk management processes to identify, measure, monitor, and manage technology risk.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the business and provide expert advice on technology risk and risk mitigation.
  • Facilitate risk reviews for new technology solutions, processes, and change initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Support the review of technology controls to optimize efficiency and focus on business risk and objectives.
  • Develop and produce high-quality risk reports for relevant governance groups.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven knowledge of technology environments, including cloud architecture and migration from on-premise systems.
  • Experience with Technology Risk & Control Assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
