Domestic Abuse Refuges Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Refuges Senior Support Worker to join our team in Central Bedfordshire. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors of domestic abuse.
About the Role:
- Provide holistic, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse in a refuge setting.
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans that empower survivors to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality outcomes for survivors.
- Support survivors in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with survivors of domestic abuse and knowledge of the complexities involved.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with survivors and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
