Container Refurbishment Specialist

We are currently looking for a Container Refurbishment Specialist to become a vital part of our container maintenance team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the current workforce to uphold and rejuvenate our Enva container inventory. This position plays a significant role in assisting the collections team by guaranteeing that container stock is perpetually ready for customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure personal and collective health and safety, fostering a positive safety culture within the workplace.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Promptly report any safety issues, hazard observations, accidents, and incidents to facilitate thorough investigations and prevent recurrence.
- Conduct proactive maintenance on various types of waste containers.
- Perform defect rectification on containers, including lid and wheel replacements as necessary.
- Execute repairs and painting on containers to the highest standard.
- Maintain an adequate supply of paint, skip chevrons, and vinyl for stickers to ensure the required refurbishment details on containers are met.
- Regularly check and maintain a functional waste collection container stock to minimize downtime and help exceed service levels for Enva customers.
- Utilize a cutter plotter system to print cut vinyl stickers from the system onto vinyl sheets, ensuring accurate production and placement on each container post-painting.
- Provide assistance in other areas on-site as needed, within the scope of technical knowledge.
- Comply with the required health and safety standards.
- Ensure the availability of paint, wheels, lids, lights, and stock at all times.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Basic educational qualifications in Mathematics and English.
- LGV 2 license is desirable.
- Proficient in computer use for sticker production.
- Confident and sociable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dynamic and proactive approach.
- Ability to take initiative.

- Experience in spray painting.
