Painter - Container Refurbishment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our container repairs department at Enva. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and refurbishing our Enva container stock to ensure consistent availability for delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Ensure your own health and safety and that of others, promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace.
- Health and Safety Obligations: Ensure all health and safety obligations are met, and company policies are adhered to.
- Reporting Safety Concerns: Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents, and incidents in a timely manner to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence.
- Container Maintenance: Carry out proactive maintenance on a varied waste container types.
- Container Defect Rectification: Carry out container defect rectification, including lid and wheel replacement where needed.
- Container Repairs and Painting: Ensure repairs and painting to containers are carried out to the best of your ability.
- Paint and Materials Management: Ensure stock of paint, skip chevrons, and vinyl for stickers is maintained and always available to carry out the required refurb detail on containers.
- Container Stock Management: Maintain through regular checks a working waste collection container stock to minimize downtime and assist in exceeding required service levels to Enva customers.
- Sticker Production: Print cut vinyl stickers from system onto vinyl sheet through cutter plotter system to ensure the correct stickers are produced and sited to each container after painting.
- Site Support: Assist elsewhere on site if required and within technical knowledge.
- Health and Safety Standards: Work to the required health and safety standards.
- Materials Availability: Ensure paint, wheel, lid, light, stock is always available.
- Basic Qualifications: Basic school qualifications in Maths and English.
- Desirable Qualifications: LGV 2 desirable.
- Technical Skills: PC literate for sticker production.
- Personal Qualities: Confident and outgoing personality, attention to detail, dynamic, initiative, proactive, flexible approach to working hours, adaptable, tenacious, self-motivated, results-focused, process-driven.
- Experience: Spray painting experience, working with paint products, and ensuring correct disposal and usage at all times.
