Network Rail is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Manager to lead and direct system and database management processes within the delivery unit. This is a unique opportunity to provide direction and support on the use of systems and databases and all aspects of asset data management.

The successful candidate will have good knowledge of maintenance systems and databases, good analytical skills, and the ability to manage a small team. They will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and validating the upgrade, update, maintenance, and utilisation of all systems and databases within the delivery unit.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for infrastructure systems management, please apply.

About the Role

  • Manage, coordinate, and validate the upgrade, update, maintenance, and utilisation of all systems and databases within the delivery unit.
  • Provide direction and support, including briefings on the use of systems and databases within the delivery unit.
  • Manage the collation of information from the delivery unit team and third parties such that systems and databases are updated to provide accurate information at all times.
  • Manage data quality within systems and databases to meet corporate requirements.
  • Manage the integrated risk management process. Maintain and update the Active Risk Manager Database.
  • Resolve issues that adversely affect the effective performance of systems and databases.
  • Monitor, audit, and report on the accuracy, receipt, and updating of data.
  • Provide information to support delivery of business plans and improvement initiatives and project works.
  • Provide analysis and management reports as required to support maintenance delivery. Make recommendations where management action is required.
  • Accurately update systems, databases, and records as required, including the Hazard Directory.
