About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join our team at Octavius Infrastructure. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering expertise to our projects across the UK.

With a focus on driving innovation and ensuring successful project execution, you will work closely with our engineering teams to develop and design temporary works solutions for live sites and tender bids.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance and support to site and bid teams regarding Design Management processes and Temporary Works Management Procedures.
  • Ensuring safety standard compliance and upholding Octavius and customer technical approval processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, representing Octavius in technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and design consultants.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent academic qualification in an engineering discipline, preferably civil engineering, and a working knowledge of construction and civil engineering works. Proficiency in collaborating within teams and building relationships with customers, suppliers, and clients is also essential.

As a Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of up to 4 reports and encouraging the exchange of engineering knowledge and innovation among team members and different site teams.
