About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning tasks to ensure agreed standards and prioritize workload accordingly.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues noticed during cleaning duties.
- Respond promptly to service shortfalls and conduct daily maintenance on machinery as trained.
- Perform additional or special cleans as instructed and maintain adequate stocks of consumables.
- Attend and complete training as required and use chemicals and equipment safely.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner and escalate issues as necessary.
- Work safely and report any health and safety risks or hazards.
- Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and consumables and storage areas.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
Previous experience in workplace cleaning or a related field.Good timekeeping and attendance.Excellent customer service skills.A methodical and meticulous approach to work.The ability to read and speak English to ensure safe working practices.Benefits
