Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist

The Nurse Practitioner will meet with new patients to orient them about services, identify needs, and suggest local physicians and services. They will perform physical examinations, maintain outpatient records, and conduct research as deemed necessary by the institution.
Collaboration with staff to identify patients' needs and develop plans to meet these needs is also an essential aspect of the role.
A current license as a registered nurse in the state and approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts are required.
Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
