Join our team at Black Country Job Support as a Support Time and Recovery Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in our community.
About the RoleAs a Support Time and Recovery Worker, you will work closely with our Care Co-ordinators, Clinical Lead, and Team Leader to provide support and guidance to service users. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of service users, developing and implementing therapeutic interventions, and working in partnership with other agencies to promote recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Support service users with severe mental health needs to promote their own recovery
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions underpinned by the Care Programme Approach
- Work in partnership with other agencies to promote recovery and independence
- Manage a caseload of service users, including those with complex needs
- Provide practical support with activities of daily living essentials
We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience:
- Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent
- Evidence of training or development in mental health and social care
- Good IT skills and ability to use electronic records
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Ability to respond in a professional manner to challenging behaviours
