Axcis Education Recruitment is pleased to be working with a specialist SEND school in Southport, who are searching for several teaching assistants. The positions available are full time and part time, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

The school caters for primary and secondary children across the autism spectrum.

Other needs in the school include ADHD, learning difficulties, and some challenging behaviour.

The role involves assisting teachers in delivering personalised education plans.

  • Support students with autism in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or care setting.
  • Understanding of autism and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £83 per hour. There is a car park on site for drivers, as well as good public transport links within walking distance of the school.

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
