Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician to join our team at Rightangled. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team who are committed to delivering a high-quality service and making healthcare more accessible to people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate final checking of prescription and P medication before their dispatch from the dispensary to patients. This involves completing the final checks of prescriptions and P medication, maintaining the required pharmacy dispensing records, and ensuring all orders are processed on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete the final checks of prescriptions and P medication to be dispensed.
  • Maintain the required pharmacy dispensing records, ensuring clear audit trail is maintained.
  • Ensure all orders are processed on time as the need arises by the business.
  • Check returns and complete the relevant pharmacy documentation and patient communication procedure.
  • Complete a handover at the end and beginning of each shift to the Responsible Pharmacist.
  • Support pharmacy procedural activities with the Pharmacist, including complaint management and prescription investigations.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff and participate in their training and development.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician and has completed a UK recognised or GPhC accredited Pharmacy Accuracy Checking qualification.
