Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse Manager to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager in our Inpatient Mental Health department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward
  • Oversee a team of registered and unregistered staff
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • RMN Qualified (NMC registered)
  • Experience in leading ward teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Patient-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Experience on acute wards is desired
