Position Overview:

We're seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Part-Time Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary. Based in Jersey, you'll work closely with our founders to manage all Jersey compliance matters, oversee the work of our team members, and act as the company secretary for our Jersey entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all Jersey compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the work of our Jersey-based team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Act as the company secretary for our Jersey entities, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Prepare and document board meetings, maintaining necessary records.
  • Support transactional work within the 1GLOBAL group, ensuring compliance with Jersey regulations.
  • Collaborate with our wider compliance team, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Instruct external advisors to assist with complex matters.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a company secretary, administrator, or corporate lawyer.
  • Residency in Jersey, with a valid permit to live and work in the island.
  • Dynamism and flexibility, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Consistency and reliability, with a commitment to upholding high standards.
