We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer Associate to join our dynamic team at Contech Engineered Solutions. As a key member of our sales engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive training program, where they will learn about our products, markets, applications, and consultative selling techniques.
  • You will work closely with experienced Sales Engineers and Product Consultants to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • After completing the training program, you will have the opportunity to relocate within the region to expand your professional network and gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program: Participate in classroom training sessions, observe experienced Sales Engineers/Product Consultants, create projects and presentations, and take assessments to confirm your progress.
  • Field Experience: Travel to different locations to gain a well-rounded perspective in marketing, sales, customer service, credit, and manufacturing.
  • Sales Process: Observe the sales process by traveling with Sales Engineers and Product Consultants, attending sales calls, presentations, promotions, trade shows, and installations.
  • Sales Practice: Adhere to established sales processes and put your sales skills to the test by calling on both existing and new accounts.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current by participating in educational opportunities, reading sales and marketing publications, and product sheets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CRM software, and basic CAD.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time within assigned territory.
  • Willingness to relocate within the region upon successful completion of the training program.
