Client Relations Director

Peritus public relations is seeking a Client Relations Director to join our team in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of our Impact Pillar, you will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, driving strategic communications, and managing account teams to deliver results.
About the RoleThis high-impact position requires a proven ability to lead teams and mentor account executives to success. You will serve as the firm's primary manager of client service, building relationships with clients and ensuring client satisfaction.
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate relationships with community influencers and actively participate in community initiatives, strategically connecting your involvement back to the firm.
- Collaborate with the Growth Pillar (i.e., business development team) to identify new business opportunities and external marketing initiatives.
- Participate in client pitches, proposal writing, and new client onboarding.
- 7-10 years of experience in public relations or a related field, with at least two years in an account management or leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and mentor account executives to success.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com and Harvest.
