We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing essential support for our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, maintaining the highest standards of support.
  • Adhere to established technical protocols and service delivery processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Handle 3rd Line incident tickets, including escalation and problem resolution.
  • Manage various technologies, including Domain Central Services (Active Directory) and SCCM, focusing on optimization and availability.
  • Create and manage security groups, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and roaming profiles within Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Perform routine operational tasks, such as monthly security updates to the infrastructure.
  • Conduct basic Citrix administration using Citrix Studio, Director, and vCenter.
  • Work within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues to leadership and specialists as necessary.
  • Represent the Infrastructure team in client meetings and act in the absence of team leadership.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the 3rd Line Break/Fix team with laptop, desktop, and VDI terminal issues.
  • Mentor and guide 2nd Line Engineers, contributing to the development of knowledge resources.
  • Assist with client projects as needed.
  • Create and maintain procedural documentation.
  • Investigate and report on network outages.
  • Perform basic administration of network backups using Veritas Net Backup Software.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10 and earlier operating systems, including deployment and support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2016 and later versions.
  • Solid understanding of Cisco networking hardware and routing.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware issues.
  • Knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation and correspondence.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of VMware versions 7 and newer.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification in Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Experience with Ivanti Security Controls.
  • Familiarity with Avecto Defend Point.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft WSUS.
