About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at BlackRock. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building, growing, and maintaining our multi-cloud strategy. You will work closely with our international, multidisciplinary team to design and implement cloud technology solutions that meet the needs of our development community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure, AWS, GCP, and Oracle Clouds
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud technology with our development community
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to drive cloud technology products and strategies to delivery
  • Assist in solving complex issues with our cloud services and platform
  • Produce well-written user documentation and How To's to make other teams productive
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in provisioning, deploying, and supporting cloud native applications and infrastructure in Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI
  • 2+ years of Terraform experience with the ability to deliver complex infrastructure across Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI
  • 2+ years of CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins
  • 2+ years of experience in systems automation via BASH, PowerShell, Python, Java, GoLang, etc.
  • Experience in contributing to Agile teams to achieve goals
  • Experience with cloud-related networking and resources
  • Experience with software deployment and orchestration technologies such as Helm, Docker, Kubernetes
