About the Role

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Cardiology Interventional Fellow. This is a unique opportunity for a trainee to gain comprehensive training in advanced intervention, with the possibility of training in both coronary and structural intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in 1 outpatient session per week within the Cardiology service
  • Attend a minimum of 4/5 laboratory sessions a week for training in cardiac intervention
  • Work under the direct supervision of interventional cardiologists for broad exposure to complex cardiac interventions

Person Specification

  • MBBS or Equivalent
  • GMC Registration
  • MRCP or Equivalent
  • Evidence of Higher Specialist Training in Cardiology
