**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Administrator to join our team at School Staffing Solutions. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our senior management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
  • Manage the diaries of the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling of meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the office, including admissions, absences, and calendar management.
  • Schedule regular events and meetings, prepare meeting materials, and manage attendees.
  • Provide support and leadership as needed for large-scale events.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team and Senior Leadership Team to report on admissions and pupil numbers in line with agreed budgets.
  • Organize assessment visits for pupils and support the organization of open mornings for pupils and parents.
  • Assist in completing official returns on admissions, numbers on roll, and other administrative tasks.
  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team to support open days through Eventbrite.
  • Line manage administration support roles, with responsibility for performance management.
  • Coordinate and manage reception cover as part of the administration team.
  • Allocate administrative tasks for the admin support roles, according to business needs and key priorities.
  • Act as a champion for Engage MIS, ensuring accurate records are maintained and raising issues when necessary.
  • Oversee the absence process of registering students.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good literacy skills to prepare correspondence and reports, and maintain records to a high standard.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven track record of successful support to senior managers.
  • Experience of a busy and sometimes pressurized office environment.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proven discretion, tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality in dealing with adults and children.
  • Flexibility to work occasionally early or late and at weekends as necessary.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection Act.
