Delivery Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in Blackburn, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent service and adherence to delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers across various locations, adhering to delivery schedules and time constraints.
  • Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Follow established delivery routes and time schedules accurately, minimizing delays and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, performing regular checks and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times, resolve any issues, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing the safety of yourself, customers, and other road users.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on providing excellent service and resolving customer complaints.
  • The ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong emphasis on safety and physical well-being.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing delivery schedules and requirements.
