About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Class Teacher to join our team on a full-time maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of Reception students and contributing to the overall development of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a class of Reception students, planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents and carers
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of teaching in a Primary School setting
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the overall development of the school
