About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Researcher to join our team at the UK Telecoms Lab (UKTL). This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects and contribute to the advancement of cyber security technologies.

You will have the chance to collaborate with senior government officials, industry leaders, and academic professionals, gaining valuable experience and insights into the latest security trends and technologies.

About the Role:
  • A deep understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles and their impact on security practices.
  • Knowledge of data structures, distributed systems, virtualisation, and containerisation technologies.
  • A deep understanding of network protocols and how software works from assembly through to interpreted languages.
Requirements:
  • Experience in vulnerability research or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and security best practices.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.

The estimated salary for this role is £72,500 per annum, depending on experience.
