Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Advanced Mathematics Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to delivering high-quality education. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced department head and other members of the teaching staff to ensure that our students receive the best possible education.

Responsibilities

  • Teach mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching staff to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A formal teaching qualification (PGCE) and QTS
  • Experience of teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts to students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary

The salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
