Job Summary:
This role forms an intrinsic part of our clinical team, working alongside our Theatre staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the multi-disciplinary team in Theatres by providing an efficient and sensitive supporting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort patients between wards, departments, and theatre suites
- Deliver meals to patients
- Handling of equipment, medical records, specimens, and lines
Requirements:
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker with NVQ level 2/3 qualification
- Previous experience within a hospital theatre environment is essential
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
