Job Overview:

This role involves working closely with our experienced ophthalmic surgeons, maintaining a sterile environment, and administering medications as required. Your skills and expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless operating theatre management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support ophthalmic surgeons during operations, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Administer medications according to theatre protocols, prioritizing patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop effective theatre management systems.
Requirements:
  • NMC registration and completed preceptorship.
  • 6 months of experience as a Scrub Nurse in Ophthalmic Theatres.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Proof of vaccinations/immunity.
  • Mandatory training aligned to Skills for Health UK CSTF standards.
  • 2x Clinical References.
