Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Motivate Your Team
    • Take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
    • Lead, motivate, and mentor your team to deliver exceptional care and support.
    • Deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the care home.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans
    • Carry out assessments to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
    • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.

    • Encourage residents to maintain their independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Establish a vision and development plan for the home.

Requirements

  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Registered Nurse with current PIN on the NMC register.
    • Either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
  • Leadership and Management Skills
    • Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Conducting risk assessments.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Considerate and kind when communicating with residents and colleagues.
