Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care that protects individuals' dignity
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches
  • Support individuals to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals
  • Connect individuals to their communities, accessing local support and services
  • Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control
  • Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time
Induction Training:

As a Care Assistant, you will receive comprehensive induction training on:

  • Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes
  • Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity
  • Confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication
  • Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
  • Infection prevention and control, health and safety
  • Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health, and capacity

We are recruiting female applicants and drivers with access to a car and a valid UK driving licence. Pay: £p/hr (drivers) - travel time included. Shift Pay rather than pay per call; allowing you to go Above & Beyond when supporting clients to achieve outcomes, maintain independence, and build community connections. Mileage: 45p per mile for drivers. Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher.

As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends. Early Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm. Late shift: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times). As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, we will agree your working pattern, setting 2-week rota which includes: Alternate full weekends. Evenings as agreed within your working hours.
