Engineering Technologist Position

Tec Partners is seeking an Engineering Technologist to join our team in Diss. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance, including developing and implementing planned preventative maintenance schedules, improving and maintaining production processes, and designing cost-effective equipment modifications.
The selected candidate will work closely with other professionals, monitor and commission plant and systems, and consider the implications of cost, safety, and time restraints. They will also develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs, and liaise with contractors and sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and commission plant and systems.
- Liaise with contractors and sub-contractors.
The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications such as the 18th edition, ECS Gold Card, Testing and Inspection 2392, and have knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Additionally, they should be able to work in a team, communicate effectively with back-office staff, and be organized and a good timekeeper.
Salary and Benefits:The hourly pay for this role is £17.50 before probation and £18.50 after probation, equating to approximately £46,852 per annum.
