Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team in a complex neurological care setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to patients with complex neurological conditions.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day therapy organization, ensuring timely and effective treatment planning and discharge planning for patients.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, conducting comprehensive assessments of patients and developing tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Lead and support the SLT team, providing guidance and coaching to less experienced team members.
  • Manage a designated clinical caseload, maintaining up-to-date professional documentation and ensuring high-quality care.
  • Assess and monitor patients' progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing their rehabilitation outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in neurological rehabilitation, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
