Document Controller

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our Infrastructure team. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that project design information and documentation are captured and stored in a methodical manner within Viewpoint for Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure company and project information management protocols and procedures are followed.
- Act as a communication liaison for the design and site teams, including key documentation and handover information.
- Build effective working relationships with all members of the site team, up to and including Director level.
- Be Viewpoint Champion for the project team.
- Support the relevant Teams with the workflow process, RDD, RFI, Change Control, and linking information to virtual containers within our CDE.
- Manage the CDE, creating internal and external document containers with CDE templates or inviting and revoking internal and external users.
- Manage registers and audit site records regularly to ensure compliance with our BMS processes and procedures.
- Generate and issue reports to internal/external parties when required.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A highly organized approach to work.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to effectively and proactively coordinate multiple activities under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate with all members of the site team and the wider team if required.
- The ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Aptitude to learn new software and technology tools quickly.
- Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.
- Able to demonstrate alignment and work in line with the Galliford Try values - Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration.
