About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team at The Disabilities Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with acquired brain injury, physical disabilities, and/or sensory impairment to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of individuals with acquired brain injury and/or physical disabilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
