About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring the smooth operation of our care home.
- Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
- Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers.
- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members to ensure a warm welcome and effective onboarding.
- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.
