About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring the smooth operation of our care home.
  • Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers.
  • Helping with training and supervision of new staff members to ensure a warm welcome and effective onboarding.
  • Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
  • Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.
