Care Practitioner

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Oulton Park care home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, leading and motivating a team of carers, and taking responsibility for resident medication, wound management, continence, physiological assessment, and care planning under the guidance of the on-site Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake senior care responsibilities, including leading and motivating a team of carers
- Demonstrate passion for delivering exceptional care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Support a nursing team with medication, assessments, care planning, and wound management
- Attend regular training sessions, both on and off site, to develop new skills and confidence
- 2 years' experience in a care setting
- NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
- GCSE maths and English grade C or above
