Dyslexia Support Specialist

Support Students with Dyslexia
Newcastle College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dyslexia Support Tutor to join our dedicated team, supporting students with additional learning needs and disabilities.
This role involves delivering specialist dyslexia support sessions to students, from one-to-one to small group settings, as well as administering dyslexia screening and exam access arrangement assessments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dyslexia and exam access arrangements, with a proven track record of professional expertise in the SEND sector.
A Level 7 Dyslexia Professional qualification is desirable, but not essential. We welcome applicants who are willing to work towards an AMBDA or APC.
The successful candidate must have English and maths qualifications at level 2, or be willing to achieve these within a specified timeframe.

Salary: £29 - £32 per hour (dependent on qualifications)
