Job Description

TEC Partners - Technical Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance duties on various types of machinery across multiple sites in Suffolk and Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned maintenance in a highly regulated environment, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Isolate defective equipment, identify problem areas, and take corrective action to repair issues, utilizing technical expertise and knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, replacing worn and defective parts to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install electrical systems and associated equipment, followed by certification to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Adhere to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices, prioritizing the well-being of colleagues and the environment.
  • Undertake company-standard internal workshops and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, demonstrating a flexible approach to work patterns and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing certification, with a valid 18th Edition qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with a willingness to travel to various sites within a 25-mile radius.
Working Conditions:
  • Monday to Friday, with a start time from 6am.
  • On-call duties on alternative weeks/weekends, with a 48-hour working week plus overtime available.
