Job Summary

TEC Partners - Technical Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance duties on various types of machinery across multiple sites in Suffolk and Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned maintenance in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Isolate defective equipment from the power supply, inspect visually for faults, test mechanical parts, identify problem areas, and take corrective action to repair issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation and replace worn and defective parts.
  • Install electrical systems and associated equipment, followed by certification to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Adhere to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices, minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Participate in company-standard internal workshops and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, demonstrating a flexible approach to work patterns and priorities.
  • Use initiative, pay attention to detail, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain a high standard of organization and time management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing certification, with a valid 18th Edition qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with a willingness to travel to various sites within a 25-mile radius.
